Hi Guys,
IS101 is something that it is very exciting to do, looking at a lot of the lessons that we have here is very refreshing to some things that I currently do at the moment as well. There is so much more things are of interest like the MOS Contest and being able to be around others and learn together is very exciting to do!
It is surprising and overwhelming to know how many things that we do everyday have so much effect to our lives that we do and don't take into consideration. I feel that IS101 will bring that information up and learning new perspectives and knowledge will help with knowing the way and the reason behind the way things work and why they work that way.
I'm elated that you found IS101 Introduction to Information Systems exciting and refreshing :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) competitions and being able to interact with your classmates in-person definitely helps!

ReplyDeleteI orginally thought that this class was just learning about Microsoft programs, but there is definetly more to it.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same; I can already tell that this class is going to help explain some of what goes on behind the scenes that you don't even really think about. Kind of the inner workings of things.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the things we have learned so far we can easily use outside of class in other scenarios like at work.

ReplyDeleteWhen I picked IS101, I didn't know what it was about or what to expect, but being in this class I realized I need it more than I expected and am very glad I am in this class.
ReplyDeleteI scoured the course as well to receive a better understanding of the lessons ahead, saw I was familiar with some material, and some little to nothing. This class is definitely going to introduce us to some new concepts we will be able to apply in real world scenarios.
